The role of the Supervisor/Team leader is to:

  • supervise and assist in the development of care staff

  • ensure that standards of care and support are maintained to a professional level and are meeting the service user individual needs

  • monitor and spot check care/support workers in the course of their duties

  • monitor the standard and level of satisfaction of the service being delivered to ensure that quality standards in our community are maintained
    work as part of a proactive care team

It is essential that Supervisors/Team Leaders spend 90-95% of their working week in the field, the remainder being spent in the office to complete the necessary administration.

Supervisors/Team leaders may be required to work a shift system or to vary their hours of work.
