The role of the Supervisor/Team leader is to:
supervise and assist in the development of care staff
ensure that standards of care and support are maintained to a professional level and are meeting the service user individual needs
monitor and spot check care/support workers in the course of their duties
monitor the standard and level of satisfaction of the service being delivered to ensure that quality standards in our community are maintained
work as part of a proactive care team
It is essential that Supervisors/Team Leaders spend 90-95% of their working week in the field, the remainder being spent in the office to complete the necessary administration.
Supervisors/Team leaders may be required to work a shift system or to vary their hours of work.
